they are both great for music but soulseek is more user friendly.
personally I dont like irc too much its hard to look at for long periods of time.

i think the programs are to different. They cant be compared really they both have their good qualities and both have their bad qualities

lol personally share my entire music collection on irc, im always on it anyway its just an extra script that needed loading :P

Many other users do the same, u only find new stuff in the so called warez channels that are all about new stuff but go into a normal dl channel or even a chat channel and you are more likely to find a very extensive back catalogue, plus i spam in the channel what im currently playing in winamp too :D
