I've been using Shareaza for downloading torrents and I think it's faster, anyone else found that?

for me ABC client is the fastest.. Shadow's client ends up leeching off me.. i upload 300 megs while only downloading maybe half that at best.. the official is no better either..

and the download speeds are poor in both.. i would get max 12k/sec meanwhile with ABC client ive gotten up to 120k/sec steady..

FYI

ABC is built on shad0w's core, just has a different GUI :rolleyes:

For me, i use ABC. It's fast enough...
I'm not even sure programs matter..

The max i've ever download is 100kb../sec..

if you follow the directions you will get good speeds, but don't cheat
make sure you seed after its finished

Shareaza handles small files faster but is generaly the same on larger files.

i know its based on shadow's client but for some reason i get much better speed with ABC client.. i was suprised too when i was pulling down 83k/sec average compared to 10-12k/sec average with shadows client

same protocol on every client....so speed isnt something that could change.....

I find the Abc to be the fastest. Once went over 230 k/b sec for an episode. I think there were 23 seeders and 50 something leechers.

well same protocol, but but there are faster clients that take up less resources, just like they're shitty clients that hog resources
so you can't have a blanket statement like that
