lately it seems the forum's future may be in question, i don't want this to appear as a cheap shot or a scare tactic. i do want it to appear as an effort to keep some of us together, i know we will always have soulseek, and the rooms there, but if sharman decided to nuke the forum, some of the newer members(especially the lounge ;) ) would lose contact with the rest of the forum. so it is to those that i ask the question- what do you think about exchanging im usernames, to keep in touch with your friends on here? even the ones you don't know that well, is it a good idea? what if someone started a thread in the lounge like "a thread for friends to request im usernames" and all the people who participate in it could request and give each other their usernames via pm or something....

or is it a bad idea?

Though I would certainly miss this place if'n it were gone, I know other places where I can find most of the people here who I truly consider friends. ;)

i do too, titey, and I'm damn thankful for it. but the point is, the people you haven't known that long, but seem cool enough to keep in touch with.
