Is it possible to connect my stereo to my pc?
-And how do I do this?

yep... what i actually did was got a Y adapter so i could have both my computer speakers and my stereo hooked up to my computer... so when I don't need it all loud I have the small computer ones that came with my compaq monitor to use lol... but yep, thats how its done.

sweet&#33; i could use one of these. does this channel the sound to the stereo, or in my case, my tv&#39;s speakers? nice. now i don&#39;t have to get up and down to change volume

Use Y connector from line out in your sound card.

This is a really good way to fuck up your stereo or your soundcard.

This is NOT the way to do it.

You can use automotive stereo impedance matchers if you have the skill to modify the input and output comnnectors. Total cost for the automotive stereo part is between &#036;10 and &#036;20

Notice in the schematic that there is no physical contact between the two.

If you open it up, its probably got a bunch of resisters to even it out.

wouldnt be that hard to make.
