I was given a half day at work to go Christmas Shopping today, and it was HELL ON TOAST!

Tall people shoved me out of the way, i was stepped on, barged into, tutted at for taking my time looking at stuff and last but not least, laughed at by neds for wearing red-brown Doc Martens! NOT an ideal afternoon off!

Why does everyone leave it til the last minute?? they should all do it in October and leave the shops nice 'n empty for me in December! :P

but anyway, it wasn't all horrible - i (of course) had to by myself a new something for the Eddie Izzard concert that me and Lamsey are going to tonight, and i managed to find 2 cool shirts on sale B)

AND i got Lamsey a present which i think he'll like!

RESULT!

why not combine both?

my rule for gift buying: Never buy something for someone unless you can use it yourself

 LOL, and then keep their present for yourself !!!

The reason many people can't do their christmas shopping in October is because they are busy at school/college/university. Now the term is over, I have more time. :D
