And alot of Musicvideo channels

best of all it's free.

Do I really need Winamp 5.0? I'm currently using Winamp 2.91 and I can get the list of internet tv in the library. I can play Phonebooth also. I only have the same problem as "screamTUSSI". I can listen to the movie, but I have no picture. Any suggestions on how to remedy this. Thanks.

Yeah, that's right. I read also that winamp 5.0 is just the same as 2.91. But why can I view some channels and not all (like phone booth and the porn channels all give me sound but no pic, while the music video channels work great)

For the people who are only getting sound do you also see the movie window as somtimes the movie window has a habit of hiding behind the other windows.

You could also try downloading the newest version.

The best bet about puting your own stream would be to ask at the winamp forums

The best bet about puting your own stream would be to ask at the winamp forums

256k is not enough for most of streams, i&#39;m in Australia as well and have 512k mytv(nbc 11) streams just fine it uses about 30KB/s.

Some of those music channels need even higher bandwidth connections.
Some of the streams lag because they themselves dont have enough bandwidth to service a large amont of users.
Also some isps just suck like comindico resellers e.g dodo.

watch some of the high bitrate streams, they look great @500 and seen a few @1000 but it was Bork and rem on the higher bandwidth channels, you definitely need a fast connect to get the most out of it 56k and dare I say slow dsl need not apply

Yep, you need a fast connection to get a the best quailty from it. I get it pretty good here.

Well this is only winamp, if you install pauls real and quicktime alternatives which you can get from the download section, and go to http://tv4all.com you can use the links there most of tv is nothing great thou, there is some sporting channels they also have a forum.....
