Hi just wondered who you liked and which comedians 'travel well' and are liked outside their own countries.

For me the list has to include

Eddie Izzard
Billy Connelly
Tommy Cooper
Eric Morecombe

so any suggestions?

Zero :)

Jack Dee, one of the funniest men alive today :)

Morcambe And Wise used to be great, as did The Two Ronnies :D (not sure which of those four are still alive nowday's though)

Also, there was a guy called Dave Allen (he had a finger missing, if that help's anyone remember who he was if they're not too sure) who was funny as heck, but haven't seen him on tele for about ten years now :(

Lastly, Paul Merton, especially when he's on Have I Got News For You lol :)

Sniper.

ok here's my lists

us:
david cross
bob odenkirk
ray romano
david spade(a little bit)
dana carvey
seinfeld
daria(that girl from the cartoon by that name)
ben stiller

uk:
the guy who played captain "steven" peacock on the show "are you being served"----i think his name is richard somethin'
sasha cohen

canada(british columbia):
ian bag

i would like to comment on the last one. i saw him live at a few very small gigs in los angeles. he is beyond funny, i would pay serious money(more than $50) to see some taped recordings of his work, but he is not a "big time" comedian, he does it for fun mostly. who is he? just some half-irish guy from the desolate, northern region of british columbia. he claims he came from a very small town, that is definitely believable to me, because that part of british columbia isn't know for it's big cities. anyway, if you ever get a chance to see him, don't eat before you go to the show, i have laughed so hard at his routine i almost choked from not being able to catch my breath. he is that funny.
