I have 56k and I am fed up with all the fake songs on kazaa so I found this program named Piolet. Its ONLY for songs and it supports files like mp3, ogg mp2 and many more.......

It is an MP2P client but it works great for 56k or high speed users.

I wouldnt recommend this program for downloading full albums because a lot of people dont share full albums. They just share single songs off the album. ( For n00bs you have to get each song from the album seperatley!!

It has about 200,000 to 300,000 users on it but it still gives you plenty of sources and good download speeds. :P

I still use kazaa for games, movies, and so on...... :D

Here is the link Piolet Now !! (http://www.piolet.com/)

The site also has a screenshot.

Oh and one more thing i forgot. Sry. Lolz

Piolet has the OPTION of adding spyware but DISABLE it if you dont want MySearchBar on your computer!!

If you disable the option to install MySearchBar check with any spware cleaner and you will find no spyware.

It is also FREE

i used piolet for a bit, but it was weird.
it is, however, very good for finding .ogg's.

i disagree

newsgroups and emule are arguably superior for this purpose, imo
