Problem With Installing After Burrning Image

i know iam not the only one with this problem. the images works when mount them but they dont work after burning, why is that i dont know. some times the work but in middle of installition they stop responding and sometimes u cant read the cd, i know we must set the correct protection method but still no luck.
i burn cd with diffrent software(alcohol, cdrwin) but only few time's i get working cd's why is that? plz help me

i ripped a monopoly game for my nephew,
so, like always, i test the cd after the rip
didnt work, so it appeared, but he took it home anyways
and came back and said it worked on their pc, wtf?
(think i still need to play with the prog a little,
theres gotta be a logical explanation)

oh yeah, the rip was with alcohol

nero is the king, but maybe its the media are you might be burning to fast for the media, or you are doing to much while you're burning

i see you said that you burned with diff software...from which i assume you burned enuff times to check out the problem....

it could either be bad drivers (burner drivers, i mean) or just a bad lot of cds....

other than that, i cant think of anything else

I bet he doesn't have a CDRW drive.
One of the protection methods checks whether the disc in the drive is a recordable one. ROM drives cannot read the part of a CDR/CDRW disc that says it's recordable so copied discs work in those drives.

If it's a Deviance release then it won't be a protected image.

How long have you left the installation running before ending the process? It may just need a while to complete something before carrying on.
Also consider faulty hardware... have you got an original CD of something you can install as a test?

When i try to copy file from cd to HDD same problem it stucks at 18%
and i have waited atleast for 8 or 9 min at 18%

can the installition problem be becuz of this:
i have problem with ma Cdwriter
when i insert cd, its ejected and then inserted Auto twice in row and then cant read it, and when i flash it and restart the pc only for one time i can write and read after ejecting the cd back to same problem.
