About Dandruff (http://www.skinsite.com/info_dandruff.htm)

dingoBaby you beat me to it! I had it through high school and tried many remedies but, dingoBaby is right, the Head and Shoulders shampoo got rid of it for me. I don't remember how long it took but I shampood every day, sometimes twice a day whenever I took a shower.

Anyway, Head and Shoulders worked for me! http://www.iacc.org/image18.gif
Good Luck,

If you use gel, try and use it a lot less. Whenever I use a lot of gel, I get all this white shit in my hair.

Depends on what gel you're using. Most water-based gel's don't leave residue or white flakes. I use Shockwaves Ultra Strong. Just remember to wash it out at the end of the day. As for dandruff... head and shoulders by far.

Only use that T-Gel stuff twice a week. Its really harsh and not very good for your scalp. Plus is really smells awful.

I will ask my girlfriend if she has any other suggestion. She's a hair stylist.

Dandruff is flaky scalp
Dried gel or hair grease is flaky gel or hair grease.

There are other shampoos like Nizoral and Selsun Blue.
Principle ingredients attack the source of dandruff like:
Pyrithione Zinc (ZPT), Selenium Sulfide, and ketoconazole.
They are anti-fungals.

I'd say if the problem is only slight, just spend more time washing your hair, being sure to massage your scalp, and maybe don't wear a hat alot.

Visit a parlor and have your scalp applied by hot oil. That will solve your problem.

i know this sounds dumb, but trust me it works i do it all the time my grandmother told me about it. After u finish taking a shower take 1/2 a lemon (juice) and massage it in to your scalp.
P.S. IT BURNS A LOT. but only for like 2-3 min.
my dandruff is really really bad, but i do this 2-3 times a week and i get little or no dandruff. ;)

My first thought when seeing this was..."yeah, right!". However, a Google search yields multiple sites promoting this remedy......Hometips (http://blessingsforlife.com/hometips/lemonjuice.htm)....and....Lemon Juice (http://www.chefnoah.com/tips/lemon_juice.htm)

I decided to just leave in t-gel for 10 minutes instead of the 2 or 3 i usually leave it in for. My hair became a little drier, but I did notice a huge decrease in the flakes. Im going to use it 4 or 5 times a week until it goes away then once or twice, as the bottle suggests.

After my very first use of Head and Shoulders my dandruff was absolutely nullified.

Not a flake in sight.

Remember the movie BREAKFAST CLUB? Use your dandruff as "snow" for the pencil drawing.

True. The moment I use regular shampoo again, 'POOF POW', dandruff will come back like a boomerang.
