u can ebay this 1: voodoo 6

if u find anything at all it would probly be no less than 2000 bucks as only 1000 were made b4 3dfx declared its doom

its performance is equivalent to a radeon 9600xt (approx)

3dfx devoted all of its r&d to it and thats why it went bankrupt

it came out in 2k i think, not exactly sure

Does this sound good for $99? Sounds good to me but im a noob when it comes to the finer points of hardware. Im also worried the rest of my comp wont be able to keep up.

well if you're going to be upgrading...might as well get a card thats gonna last at least a year....which mean dx9 support which the 9200 series does not offer.

you must be looking at the 9600 pro ez version if its 129 cuzconnect3d 9600 128mb = 109 usd (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-142-012&catalog=48&depa=1)

i suspect its going to be faster but not goign to be a hugh jump from the 9200 to 9600...but if u insist on 9200 you can also find it here for 69 usd (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-142-011&catalog=48&depa=1)

P.S. never buy comps stuff off bestbuy....rip off unless its a holiday sales.
