I just wanted to say a big, BIG happy Chanuka to you all (Chanuka - the Jewish holiday that is at the same time as Christmas), and thanks for being the best board in the world!!!!!!

Oh I wasn't correcting him/her, I just wished 'um well. :)

You can spell it in two or three ways, see? (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=Hanukkah) :)

He/She did forget an "h" at the end, but he/she lives in Israel, so maybe it's dictionary.com that is at fault. :unsure:

1) i dont particularly like the saddam pic with the magen david on his head... sorry.
2) in english, you do not have a letter that makes the sound "ch" (like in scottish - "och eye and such"... english dont have it)... we do, which is why Chanuka is spelt as such. the "h" at the end wont make a difference. but anyhoot - spell it as you wish :)
