im not sure how betting works. does this mean that if i bet £8 i win £9. does it also mean theres no frikkin way its gonna snow

Basically yes to both.

Tho' you only actually win £1, you just get your stake back as well.

Actually I dont think in this instance you can bet either way. :(

I heard on the weather forecast it might snow on Sunday afternoon or Monday, in the east of England, but there probably won't be any snow on christmas day, just rain.

I'll take bets that it doesn't snow anywhere in Australia on Christmas Day or any day in the next 4 months! :P
