View Full Version : If You Have A Website With A Lot Of Traffic

I see a lot of websites with banners and such. As long as there are no popups, the banners on websites don't annoy me.

Does anyone know of a reliable "banner" (non-porn) that I can use for my website? I'd like to generate a few $$ to cover website costs.

He asked for banners. Not pop-up ads. Read better.

Anyways, Bride.Ru seems pretty good for the paid banner ads. I think you have to have an PayPal account though to get the money wired to you.

You could also try Google's banner ad program. I'm not sure how much they pay, but there's a lot of websites with those.

I did it. I did it!

We'll see what happens. It makes my website look less appealing.

Just click my Signature below to see.

Looks acceptable :)
Don't really care if there are banners on websites. It's the pop-up's that annoy me.
And the bride.ru doesn't really make your site less appealing.
It's hardly noticeable if you ask me.
Hope you'll get some money out of it.

Okay. As expected. So far I am make $1.00 a day with that "Brides.RU"

Now how about this? Gambling banner...
Is this "SAFE"? It almost looks like I could "LOSE" money. I don't understand the fine print completely.

Basically, when somebody clicks my banner and gambles, I win a percent of the "losing money". Sounds good, but is it real?

I am also looking for ads to put on my website, and I am going to make one html file purely for ads, and refer my visitors in there.
Hence, I dont mind popups.
But that url doesnt work....

I assume popups will net you more money, so I am very interested in having them in this "ads.html" file. :D
Can you fix the url, or anyone tell me about any other affiliate programs, popups or not?

only if they don't win:

Is it possible for me to lose money in the Casinos?
The Casinos can lose money, but it is highly unlikely and would happen in the short term only. In any case, Casino Tropez, Casino DelRio and Vegas Red assume all liability, meaning that this is a risk-free affiliate program. If the players you referred win, you will not be asked to reimburse us. We will deduct those winning amounts from your balance with us, but we will not ask you to pay us back. You can be sure, though, that the commission program is much more profitable than any other advertising programs in the long run.

oopss could a mod delete this post ?

Personally, when it comes to money, I only trust really popular schemes which I know work. In this case, google adwords seems the only popular scheme which many major sites use ....

Can you show me a few examples? I want to see a few real web pages that use Google Adwords.

I am sure you can post the direct links here. It wouldn't be spamming, in this case.

I tried to apply for Google AdWords. I don't qualify. They say this...

"Thank you very much for your interest in AdSense. Our goal is to be able
to extend our service to as many web publishers as we can. Unfortunately,
after reviewing http://mysite.verizon.net/vze3nvj6/swk we are unable to
accept it into our AdSense program at this time for the reasons related
to:

-Page type. At this time, the Google AdSense program does not support
domain paths. You must be able to run ads on your entire site, in this
case mysite.verizon.net. In the future, however, we may offer this option
to publishers.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

The Google Team

Thank you for understanding? They are assuming that I understand? Sorry, but I don't.

So then I sent them www.SPINDULIK.com which is my domain without paths. And they send me the same excuse that I do no qualify.

I got accepted to Google Adsense (I've read they accept pretty much anyone). My site doesn't get much traffic though. It seems alright. It's pay per click though so visitors have to click on the banners for you to get money which is a bit of a pain.

Tis an old topic mate, mods wont be too happy :P

Anyway, my site finally got accepted for google ads, the site (http://www.rileysresource.net), but you'll need to visit another section as ads wont show on homepage.

You can also use a re-direct page instead of banners or pop ups.

Re-directing ensures the visitor goes to the site.
