i installed star wars knights of the old republic which i played for about 3 minutes and decided to uninstall because it was so boring.

after uninstalling thru the control panel, the program is still in the add/remove progs list, but doesn't have the usual details like size listed. it's also still in the start menu.

is there a way to safely delete the folders for the game, get it off the add/remove progs list and remove any registry entries?

I always then delete the games folder and remove it from the software list

then I run a regcleaner

RegCleaner is fairly simple n easy to use, it also makes backups of any keys u do decide to delete. If you dont know wat ure doin, then dont go deleteing stuff all willy nilly :P

Try uninstalling it again, it should say something about "something is wrong, either the program has been moved or uninstalled already, would you like to remove this from the Add/remove program list"
Click yes then it should be removed.
Then go into your program directory or where ever you installed it and make sure the entire folder is deleted.

For a regcleaner I recommend, RegSupreme...its fast and creates backups, its the NEW recleaner by jv16.

You can also remove the registry key manually or use registry crawler and type in the name of the program and it will list all registry values related to it and then manually remove them.

Hope this helps,
Steve

Try deleting the folder that you installed it in then go back and try the add/remove button again.
