8 bits = 1 Byte
1024 Bytes = 1 Mega Byte
1024 Mega Bytes = 1 Giga Byte
1Mb is One Mega Bit and 1MB is One Mega Byte.
People sometimes see an advert stating: One Mb connection speed, and they think it's 1 mega byte and realy it's 1 mega bit.
