Dvd Rip Divx Pal File To Dvd

I have downloaded bruce.almighty.2003DVDRip.XViD-FTS video compressed using DIVX MPG4 V3 and want to extract the vobs etc.. Tried encoding with TMPGenc but it gets 3 or 4 mins into it and gives a scan line range too big (288) error. I want to burn it with nero. Any help from the all-knowing to the not getting very far but determined, is greatly appreciated :huh:

there is no way to extract the vob files as they were the source of this file (hence it is a dvd rip!). I assume you are wanting to convert it to a dvd, if so try searching for "avi to dvd" on www.download.com

probably got bad frames in it (corruption)

edit: you can check and repair bad frames with "vdub-mp3-freeze"

Yep, you must have bad frames. You can use videofixer to fix the movie.
