I was just wondering which one is the best. I currently have AOL 9.0 optimized(yah right optimized may ass) I use to use Internet Turbo 2003 which worked pretty good.

I dont think 56k optimizers would work, you suppose to be getting <7KB
EDIT: But I suggest using TCP Optimizer from speedguide.net http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php
BACK UP YOUR CURRENT SYSTEM SETTINGS IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE THIS, in the program, go to file > backup current settings

like mike said, ur not gonna get faster than 7kB/s...there are no "internet boosters" all they do is store parts of a webpage to ur hdd and then when u go bac it loads faster b/c its on ur pc

It isn't your modem which speeds up by using a so called booster (TCP/IP Optimizer is really working. Get it.), but your Windows environment is being optimized for the connection you have (MTU values and so on).

One of the best 56k tweaking guides I've seen yet. 56k Tweak Guide (http://forums.speedguide.net/showthread.php?threadid=68127)

Also add the following entry to your registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\AFD\Parameters
Add the parameter BufferMultiplier and give it a value of 400 hexidecimal which will make it 1024.
I was wondering how I would add this to my reg. Its from the speedguide.net
