War Games (video Games)...

Let's see, Downloaded Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault. Updated to 1.11 UK/US, got the crack for the exe. Ran it, stupid error that said something to do with gamex86.dll, couldn't find a solution to it. So MOHAA won't work (and yes, i have the latest nvidia drivers and directx 9.0b). So now I'm going to try Battlefield 1942, is that any good? But it seems no one is seeding at the moment, so the only other war-type game that caught my attention is Operation Flashpoint. I just finished installing it, I remember I played the demo of this once. But that was when it came out like in 2000 or something. Anyways, Operation Flashpoint is pretty fun to play, but I need something with more action. Any recommendations? Oh ya, tried Call Of Duty, damn "must have directx9.0 compatible video card" :angry: .

BF1942 is more of a LAN game, although a good one. its meant for LAN

Return to Castle Wolfenstein if you haven't tried it I found it ok but nothing special to write home about.

ya, i'm dling b41942+road to rome expansion, seems pretty good from the reviews i've read. they should have released call of duty for xbox or ps2 then i could have played it. any other suggestions? i know the war category of games is narrow, so how about suggestions for other 3d action games? i just finished chaser, it's a great game if you don't care about storylines.

Your downloading BF1942...I just bought the damn game today haha...ITS AWESOME GET THE DAMN GAME...lol Yeah its even better as a lan game thats what we play at the lan game place in my town..I LOVE THAT GAME GET Battle Field 1942 ITS THE BEST GAME EVER. How do you download games and know they will work...?

usually from suprnova, and yes, 100% of the time, they work :D . yup, b41942 sounds promising, can&#39;t wait till it finishes downloading. how many players does it include in LAN? if it&#39;s more than 24, count me in :D :D &#33; cuz that would be so sweet B) . oh ya, that thermonuclear thing, i saw that movie a couple days ago, where that guy hacks into that cia thing. pretty cheesy <_< , but makes u think :o

EDIT: black hawk down? is it good? I guess it would be a change to play something that&#39;s modern then playing ww2 games. operation flashpoint, i must say, is by far the best war simulator game i&#39;ve played to date. keep the suggestions coming, cuz i have 93 gb i can fill up :D &#33;

That is from the movie war games, that was a good movie. delta force BHD is okay but alot of people are using the xray and wall hack so you have to be picky about the games you join. Most cheat free servers require nova login and I haven&#39;t found a serial that works for it so you may have to buy it.

I don’t know about LAN but online there are games with 64 players in so I imagine LAN would be the same, if your going to get this game then I would suggest downloading desert combat mod for it from planetbattlefield.com (http://www.planetbattlefield.com/) it is a great add on for the game, also the game is absolutely great, well worth buying.

quick question though.....what video card do you have? cuz MOHAA runs on my 32mb card..... RTCW runs on it..... RTCW: Enemy Territory runs on it.... i think CoD runs on it.... and its a tnt2 riva....thats a directx6 card...
