DATEFOOL (http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~amanb/oldhtml/Programs/)

This is a fantastic program I found a while back. It fools your programs with trial time limits into thinking that the date is still within the time limit.

All you do is:

make a shortcut to the program

go to the properties of the shortcut

in the 'Target' section you write: Datefool mm-dd-yy "path\filename.exe"
(mm-dd-yy is a date that is still within the time limit)

The only problem is with XP. If you try to put that coding into the target section, and error comes up saying "the name 'Datefool' specified in the target box is not valid" Does anyone know a way around that?

Nevermind, it works, I figuared it out.

the coding goes like this:

path\datefool.exe mm-dd-yy "path\program.exe"

(I don't remember having to do that before, I could be wrong, but it seems to work)

will this work with a program that has already used its 30 day free trial?

In theory, yes. It tells the program that it is in the date is still within the 30 days.

But I haven't tried that yet.

Some programs can tell if the clock has been set back ones that can probably wouldn't start working again with this. You'd have to delete all of the expired programs information and reinstall it before using this in that case.

Just uninstall the program & delete it from the reg if it's still there
