I was looking at the space left which is 1.2 gigs out of 80. SO i look at my program files folder and it says there is 41 Gigs of stuff in there. I go there and check every folder(right click and then properties) and then there is no way all those stuff adds up to 40 Gigs. anyone have any idea wat my problem is. Its not system restore so i dunno what else it could be... could it be a virus? I tried window washer by the way..

41GB is a lot for Program Files, but I guess it could be right....(especially if some of your p2p apps download to a directory there)...but
make sure you've got it set so you can see hidden/system files, etc.

SequoiaView will show your entire hard drive on one screen and you can hover your mouse over any file and it will tell you its exact loaction and file size.

If you want to look for 'a' file or file types, maybe.

True, but I just like how SequoiaView gives the entire HD on a block diagram scale with hover abilities that give details.
Its really just a matter of taste really, but hey, try them all and....well the rest is in my sig. ;)

Ok, question.....

If sequiaview were built into windows (and I think it should be),

Would it then be acceptible to use it to get a graphical impression of your hard drive layout?

:P

by any Chance do you have Bootvis installed onto your system? It can rake some major havoc on your system and create huge huge log files...like say over 3 gigs. Just have to make sure to make the correct preference settings with the program accordingly.
