I have an epson 850z digital camera but it doesnt work with windows xp. Before i tried out lots of drivers and finally got it to work but i did a clean format of my pc and installed windows xp sp 1 and now i cant connect to my digital camera. Does anyone have a solution?

:ghostface: I even tried Microsoft active synch but it doesnt work. It only detects an usb device(maybe my mouse) but now when i plug the camera windows makes a small sound and when i switch it off too :helpsmile:

Have you tried the
make this program "compatible" with ..98/2000 etc technique?

???. No i only have one laptop which runs on windows xp sp 1. Some people are complaining that sp 1 causes them problems :helpsmile:

In XP there is a function called make progs "compatible with...."
Im on another system now so cant find it for you
In Help - serach for compatibility\compatable

No it doesnt work. It is a driver problem. Xp detects it but doesnt have the driver

You need to upgrade the drivers (if you havent done so already). If that doesnt work try a firmware update (if they provide it). If that deosnt work throw the camera in the bin or get it repaired/replaced.

No they didnt create the drivers for windows xp...There must be a way to get it to work... IS there a rpogram similar to userport but only for usb?
