i need a good powerfull home theatre reciever i do not kno much about them and i can spend about $250 (cdn) i want to kno wat r some things that i shud look for in them and if there r any suggestions for good recievers in this price range

well with limited funds I would get a technics or jvc for about 300 cdn, ou can get a nice 6.1 amp from jvc
