Nero comes with a good program like that. Very simple to use, click and drag on the parts you want out, and click on the sissors (I think thats spelled right) and it would be gone.

But does Nero save the trimmed file, or is that only for burning?

Goldwave can do it, but it may seem a bit confusing (even overwhelming) at first. But once you get the hang of it, trimming a file is really quite easy. I do it all the time.

You could try GoldWave (http://www.goldwave.com) to edit ur songs :)

it'll allow you to save the file in most audio formats aslong as you have the encoder. theres a link to the lame encoder on the goldwave site if u dnt have it and want to save it as .mp3

A really small and easy program, with great quality results:

MP3 Sound Cutter (http://www.cooolsoft.com/mp3cut.htm)

It isn't free but I'm sure you can do something about that.
