Whats With These K-lite And Kmd Clean

lol.... i see this clean kmd 2.4.4, k-lite resurrection 2.4.5, and clean kmd 2.6

anyone wanna explain the differences? cuz we usually dont have these problems.... we just have kazaa (butt-ugly program with one hell of a network :D ) and k-lite..... and these 3 i mentioned above are different from any of the latter...

well, 2.6 seems to get search results a LOT faster (at least, for me it does), and it lets you run a couple of different searches at the same time. Beyond that i haven&#39;t explored much, so there&#39;s probably other stuff i haven&#39;t found yet. :unsure:

im using K-Lite Resurrection and it seems to get very good speeds with mp3s and movies, you might want to give it a try. i get alot of results as well, like i typed in "Snoop Dogg" and got like 6000 results.

I&#39;m using Clean KMD 2.44... works just fine for me. However, I must admit that it doesn&#39;t get search results half as fast as 2.6 does... but I can live with that to not have to see that stupid ad banner filling up a quarter of the results screen. :rolleyes:

Does anyone know what is the latest version of K-Lite without adware and banners and that is improved compared to older versions.
A link for downloading it is much appreciated.

you could get Clean KMD 2.6 if you don&#39;t mind all the empty spots..
but if you do, then get Clean KMD 2.4.4 <--&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;

Nope K-Lite Resurrection is clean of ads and spyware... It&#39;s the best around... :D

Firefox - im actually using the #Klchat build (dl&#39;d it from rat_faced). It seems some of the ad code is still in there - but theres a second program (Diet K) which loads up at the same time and blocks all the ads and whatnot.


The only complaint i have with regards to 2.6 is that it doesnt like my windows colorscheme much. The search box insists on bieng white... and very pale yellow text happens to be pretty darned tough to read on it. :)

EDit :- thats a problem i have with a lot of web pages, including this forum. BUT - i am not going to change my colorscheme. What happened to the good old days when web pages actually responded to your settings? :(

I tried out K-lite 2.6 #Klchat RC6 build. It was a total different setup compared to k-lite 2.4.3. It has a different GUI also. The prog seems more crowded and not well organized. Plus they added dietk which is also added on to the app on top of many other tools. I am staying with KLR and Clean KMD B)
