Ok I got a better question, how do you revert back to ie 5.5 in win2k? You can't use the add remove components thing that just removes access

You need another program to uninstall Internet Explorer. LitePC's XPLite/2000Lite can uninstall a ton of crap from Windows XP/2000, but there is another tool called ieradicator (http://www.litepc.com/ieradicator.html). It might help, but I think it only works for Service Pack 1.
Well, why on earth would you want to go back to 5.5? Can't you reinstall 6.0? If it doesn't work for you, I'm sure there is something else out there.
I use MyIE2 (http://www.myie2.com/) as my browser. Very capable.
