Board Partners

Following NVIDIA's strategy, XGI plans not to build, market and sell its own cards, instead concentrating only on the design and production of the chips themselves. XGI leaves the production and sale of the cards as retail products to its partner companies. C.P. Technology, better known under its label PowerColor, and Club-3D are already confirmed to be among XGI's partners. It is rumored that other companies such as ASUS, ABIT, Gigabyte, and MSI may soon follow. When asked, MSI and ASUS responded that they were not planning to produce any XGI-based cards in the foreseeable future. Gigabyte, on the other hand, confirmed that there were definite plans for cards based on XGI chips. Another likely candidate could be ECS Elitegroup. This company has strong ties with SIS, already having offered a full selection of SIS Xabre based cards in the past.

i hope msi jumps into that.... i love msi :D

Lol I dont know what you guys are so hyped up about. It does alright on medium resolution. When it gets to high resolution even the 5600 beats it sometimes.

As a matter of fact this thing sucks.

obviously u cant see the big picture.....

this card is a PROTOTYPE with alpha (well not even alpha) drivers..... the card is still being manufactured. If the card scores this high as a prototype.....just imagine what the final product will be.... even their next product :o

Oh, ok. I just figured that its in last place on almost everything lol...so I didnt figure it was that good. And I saw 16Pipes and expected much more outa it. I didnt know that it wasnt very far into development.

Its only $50 cheaper.

That SiS I think it was S3 still got pretty good benchmarks in some tests I saw recently, so if they are basically a better SiS, then great!
