An "AVI" file can also be a misnamed "RM" or "QT" file.
It may even be a "VBS" script virus file, or "EXE" trojan file...

Well usually the K-lite codec pack contains all the codecs. Im not sure if it will contain all the codecs but it is a good way to start.
