actually Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2 is my favorite. It takes longer to convert the files but the quality is the best. It is easier then Nero. Check it out.

Goto NERO (http://www.nero.com/us/index.html) and download it and go HERE (http://www.metho.2ya.com/)For A keygenerator

But i would useTMPGEnc (http://www.tmpgenc.net/) To encode first then use nero to burn.

could i use windows media player 2 copy it 2 disk?

all you need is nero and tmpgenc and some burning knowledge.

load the video in tmpgenc , press start and it will encode the whole movie so it will be in mpg format. All movies have to be in mpg format to burn with nero. Open up nero and choose video cd and find the file you created with tmpgenc and drag it to the screen on the left side and click burn and your DONE! :01: :01:

1. run it through tmpgenc pick vcd or svcd
2. split it if nessecery with the tools in tmpgenc, you will have to do this with most movies unless you make a kvcd in my sig, you can fit a whole movie on 1 cd
3 burn with nero as vcd or svcd ever how you encodenc it with tmpgenc

When you watch it on a dvd player is it the full size of the tv? Or is it small like on the computer?

It will fill your tv.But depends how you encode it either widescreen or full. And on your computer if you right click on the movie in your player select full screen.

you encoded it as vcd & svcd ?
you need to keep the same format when you burn in nero otherwise it will try to encode it for you, nero sucks @ encodeing and should never be used

Maybe your dvd player can only read cd-r's and not cd-rw.

Find out the model of your dvd player and then search it in google and to narrow your search down, also include cd-rw and cd-r in the search and you should find out if it really does play them or not.

If it doesnt, well get another dvd player. If it does, then your doing it all wrong.
