HI all


recently our adm said that we should keep our expection very low so he diceded to say that one of the following is the best versions of kl for the moment


Currently the best version is:

* Clean KMD 2.4.4

This is basically an updated version of Kazaa Lite K++ 2.4.3 with the newest tools. It has the most features and options of all versions. Specifically the AutoSearchMore function and build-in accelerator are very good. But also many other functions that you won't find in other versions.

Other good versions are:

* Kazaa Lite K++ 2.4.3

This is the most famous Kazaa Lite version ever. Just plain good.

* Clean KMD 2.6.0

This is the best clean version of Kazaa 2.6.0. It has some of the functions that can also be found in the 2.4.x series, but not all of them. Ones that it does have are unlimited searches, a PL of 1000 and the build-in IP blocker. One thing that it doesn't has is AutoSearchMore.
This build just contains all the tools that you need and not lots of unneeded and confusing extra tools like other 2.6.0 builds have. B)

but i think that there is a nother version he kept a way which is klchat version
based on clean KMD 2.6 with many other Features

2-Kazaa Lite K++ 2.4.3

3-Clean KMD 2.6.0

#KLChat! i got an idea.. why dont we just move the community to a proboards! its obvious that this community isn't helping with #KLChat! start off on new feet. maybe.. starting from scratch might help..

Well I vote for clean KMD 2.4.4....my second vote is KLR 2.4.6...and my third vote is KLchat....


I just find clean kmd easy to work with.

Although klchat is loaded with alot of goodies :D

clean kmd 2.6. i notice less connections and search results with the old K++'s. all i need is a tool which will press search like jock whitesides autosearchmore tool and i'll be all set. klchat nearly crashes my comp on install alone. i don't need all the bundled stuff that comes with it.

I think i would vote for the k lite 2.4.3 because i love it and it is i think the most secure one. also if there would be a official release of another kazaa lite than would be nice instead of these clean kazaas.

clean KMD 2.6.0 is more stable..dont need all that other crap in it. I think it's time to move on to other P2P programs out there people...Kazaa it's getting ridicules full of fakes. I just found a great P2P program called "Ares" This program looks like K-Lite and downloads like K-Lite does.....

Good bye all....if you need some great files to download, come to Ares...as it is the next best thing to Kazaa Lite without Fake files in it....i got 3000 files that i share at Ares network..and they are Growing fast :)

I voted clean kmd 2.6 not clean kmd 2.4. i'm not wasting my time with anything based on a non 2.6. version.

I love KLR2.4.4 and 2.4.3 but as we all know we will all have to move over to the 2.6 platform eventually unless enough of us keep the old one going and use the network for our own underground Fast Track. In my opinion, it will take several years for enough users to upgrade to 2.6 to cause much of a problem for KL users.

I like using the Kazaa Lite Ressurection 2.4.7 (based on 2.4.3). The programmers really did an excellent job of taking kmd and making a much, much better product. :)

I only use k-lite 2.4.3 :P (Edit) -I use Emule as well for big files- havent used Kazaa Media Desktop since i found kazaa lite (right after i stopped using morpheus and Kazaa) cant remember how long ago :P but it was a loooong time ago before most people around my area knew there was a kazaa lite

Although KLK++ is the last "official" version of KL, we must realize that things move on... I installed KLite 2.6 and it is much faster: This means that since kazaa users have moved to 2.6 we cannot stay back as we have to catch up with the new supernodes. KLK++ was a good thing, but I do not think that we should stick with it for sentimental reasons... :D

As a result, I vote for 2.6. Although I use KL 2.6 (and I am very happy with it since it works just fine), I will not compare it with KMD Lite 2.6 as I do not know it at all. So, my vote is KL 2.6 but in a qualified way! ;)
