I am trying to decrypt a drive and when doing this I get the message "Disk 80h doesn't support LBA, please enable LBA support in your BIOS"

From what I have read, LBA is support for drives larger then 135gig. Both of my drives are under 100gig. I also looked around and as far as I can tell, they are LBA enabled. And I am using XP pro, which supports this anyway.

I am not sure how to do this within the BIOS and would appreciate any help. This will hopefully help me to salvage about 70gigs of stuff.

TD,

Enter the system BIOS...on reboot the common keystrokes are F1, F2, or delete. Set the BIOS to auto detect the drive with LBA mode enabled. If you are running XP...you can also go to Start button...select Run...in the text box type "diskmgmt.msc" and push return. This will bring up a disk maintenance utility...good luck!
