Caveat Emptor (sp)

I recently purchased a quantity of toilet roll (tissue) from a well know supermarket chain. I will not mention their name for legal reasons. I have been threatened with Civil litigation too often of late.

You can imagine my surprise when I found that it was almost one week past it's sell by date. If I return the product am I entitled to a refund, or must I accept a replacement / store credit.

I am happy to take a replacement of similar value (or higher) I just wondered where I stood with regard to this.

I honestly didnt realise there was a sell by date on toilet roll. I would suggest you try J'Pol, after all, we dont want nasty accidents because of defficient paper :unsure:

Well if you kept the receipt and the roll is unused (ewww) then you should be able to get a refund. Though I imagine you'll probably just want to swap it for a roll that IS in date... :)

These things happen when one is flush. I am afraid that your money has gone down the drain. If the paper is of very poor quality however, you will put your finger on the solution. :rolleyes:

Looks like a Damn Fine Night mate.

I once went to a Burns Supper which had a similar feel to it. Four hours of Eating, drinking and the usual talking stuff. I think there were about 7 courses, I couldn&#39;t believe it.

I was Mrs J&#39;Pol&#39;s "hanger on" for that occasion, it was too good for the likes of me.

If any of the chaps have not done this sort of thing, I can highly recommend it. Hedonism run mad.
