Hmm. Sounds cool. Those things are so rare now. What generation was it? 32 or 64-Bit? It's been a while but I think its 32-Bit though I could be wrong.

Huh? The only other system I know that was $700 was the Neo Geo.

When the PSX first came out in 1995 (in the U.S) it was $299.

no you don't understand when it first came out it was 700
by the time psx came out it cost the same as psx 300 toward the end it got down to 99 bucks and good luck finding them nowadays, maybe ebay or pawnshops are your best bet
still a great system overall

Oh. Sorry about that. I must have been high when I read what you posted.

Yeah I do remember that they were at the same price at that time. The Jaguar was out there as well but I think it was $199.

But it's your choice. You can sell it or keep it for collection purposes. :)

Consoles...

Nintendo Gameboy Pocket (Got it free when i opened my bank account years ago.)
Nintendo Gameboy Advanced
Nes (Nintendo Entertainment System)
Snes (As above, but 'super')
Nintendo Gamecube (which imo is better than the ps2 by a long way, its a shame that there aren't more developing for it. Sure, the xbox is more powerful, but the better looking GC games are easily on par with their Xbox equilavents. Mind you, with the power reqs on this thing being so low, it may only be a year or three before we see a portable model of the GC replacing the GBA. Heck, they draw less power than most lightbulbs, and thats with an LCD screen and a pair of speakers slapped on top.)
Sega Master System II (this was the one without the card reader slot in the front)
Sega MegaDrive (First edition, aka the Genesis, if you live in the states.)
Sony Playstation

Older computers that aren't consoles as such...
Amstrad CPC-464 (Ive gone through at least 4 monitors for this thing, and the current one is wearing out too. Complete with floppy disk drive (PC sized floppy disks, at half capacity), 1400 baud modem made by U.S robotics (whatever a baud is), Ram expansion, and a load of extra wires and cartidges that im not really sure about)
Some Commodore system (cant remember the numbers, theres a cartridge slot on the right hand side, but i dont have any carts for it. waste, really)
Some spectrum system (loads games from this weird little mini-tape carts you slot in the front.)

And of course, my PC. Xp2200+, 1 gig ddr, and a geforce 3 ti 200. Not sure how it keeps up, but i still get smooth gameplay on just about any game. Except mybe Dungeon Keeper 2 - that manages to crash it every half hour or so. grrr.
