my drive is heavily fragmented 74% :P

thats what diskeeper said but every time I defrag it show an error
saying I need to run chdsk to fix a problem. So I do but
there are no bad sectors at all.

it's annoying. so I'm wondering if O&O defrag is better or
do I have to put up with this.

Diskeeper , cause i used for a time Perfect Disk and i got some strange problems on my pc XP Home. But overall is a very, very good disk defragmenter.Let say that 50% from us are using Diskeeper and others prefer Raxco' s Perfect Disk.

goto DOS and type this:

chkdsk /r
