I see the name appears in the Private Forum as the last poster.

Does mean that IVY is a mod / admin. I was not aware of this.

Anyone enlighten me.

 Does it REALLY matter? Would it change your view on the world forever and ever? Does it solve war, famine, and the lack of water in Africa?
Will heaven fall down on earth if IVY has a special function on the board?

Stay tuned for an answer to all these questions and more!

Remember those things that 7th is trying out?

Ivy is contributing resources, time and work to help out with those things.

Nothing suspicious about it, and it isn't the first time it's happened for the benefit - Remember when Darker was brought in to the board? :)

She's a beta tester for new functions and has access to the test board.

Beta Testers are:

Illuminati
Lamsey
Ivy

and a few developers.

Its more a case of, Multiple Personality Disorder
The mods found that IVY had a tendency to reply to her\him\itself.
And so made a nice soft room where ivy can enjoy her\him\itself.

Is that like a Private Booth \ VIP room in the back?

Oh well, I guess some of us lower class will never find out.

Who said there was anything suspicious, I merely posed a question.

Normally when a new admin / or mod is made there is an announcement. Then a string of obsequious platitudes.

The name did not appear on the list of mods or admins, so I asked the question.

No big deal either way. As long as it is up and running properly I really couldn't give a flying feck about the technicalities. It's the quality of advice, tips and chat that matters to me. As long as I can come here and get the advice and or discussion I want then Vogons can run it as far as I am concerned.

I know you didn't say it, but topics like this always get paranoid conspiracy theorists reading too much into things and filling holes with their own beliefs

Interesting.

Why was a newly minted member chosen to "beta-test" board features when I'm sure that many long term members would have been happy to volunteer?

I suppose you'd get quite tired of quoting that all day - i tried singing it too, just to break the monotony, but it just as boring

Im sure you have more though - i like the conection between colt45 and bees - gives it more "sting".

I must admit the second time i wasn't as enthusiastic - it still felt boring.

Tell me J'Pol, whats the weather like up there? I have a daughter in Scotland, but we dont talk about the weather and i am concerned about her well being. Last winter the whole town got flooded, luckily she lives on a higher part, but all the same - it could happen again.

J'Pol
01-02-2004, 09:21 PM
It's very cold and wet just now, but nothing too dramatic, certainly round the Glasgow area.

I haven't seen any extreme weather warnings, short or long range.
