Whoops, Sorry Jonno babe, I'm a bit slow. All that alcohol from the past few days has killed major pieces of my brain

i found a piece of glass with some white powder on it

As far as horseshoes are concerned, i did hear that the horseshoe must hang with two ends pointing upwards, or else or your luck will run out - do you believe that??

Also, if you have an ornament of an elephant, then its trunk must also curl up at the end - is this just old wives tales?

Peace

I'm just glad it didn't land on your rabbit's foot :)

A horseshoe, hung above the doorway, will bring good luck to a home. In most of Europe protective horseshoes are placed in a downward facing position, but in some parts of Ireland and Britain people believe that the shoes must be turned upward or "the luck will run out."

I didnt think of it like that. I wonder how it came about then?

Perhaps they meant a foot from the Killer Rabbit in Holy Grail?

I'm pretty sure its trunks facing the door but heck who knows for sure?

AHHHHHHHHHHHH Run awayyyyyyy

I think it's like a seafaring thing, animals and women on a boat are bad luck, therefore the foot of a rabbit could be lucky or something

Fisherman make me laugh, green is very very very bad luck, but seaweed is green

They also say that women on boats bring bad luck, but why do they allways refere to ships as "she/her" and give them female names??

Then could it be that they wouldn't want the ship getting jealous of another female on board? <_<

I thought a naked woman on board was good luck, hence those figureheads of women that ships had ;)

I found this link that tells some sailor superstitions (there are a lot) but apparently a woman on board angers the sea whilst a naked woman will calm the sea (sounds to me like the sailors were just a bunch of perves  )

Breaking a mirror should bring 7 years of bad luck?
Nonsens!

What power in this world should create that? (or any above that..)
I'm not superstitious at all.
