It should work fine. I see nothing on the site that says anything about IDE connectors, but I would think it has it..lol Whoever told you this is not compatible...hmmm

i've always said to never say THX whenever some1 teaches you something.... its a moral obligation to teach other humans, hence there's no need for the thx...

i do it without expecting something in return, usee?

Bare in mind that is Canadian dollars. That is only like 90 bucks American.

And as for Hardware in Canada, that is the cheapest site around. He will meet or beat any price that another shop in our area sells for.Hell, the owner actually surfs the other canadian sites and bases his prices a couple of bucks cheaper than any of them.I have bought stuff from this shop(it is in my hometown) and the prices are the best I can find.

PS Newegg.com sells the XP2500+ for 90 bucks American.

Hey Yeh I was that guy that doesn't know shit. I'm only learning myself.
But I thought since his Harddrive was ATA133 and his mobo was Serial ATA that they wouldn't feel the love.
I guess I was mistaken thanks for clearing things up.

Well, let your learning process begin. B) This board is actually a good place to look, when you need to know something about hardware, so many questions on just about every type of hardware has been asked here.
So have at it.
And there are many members here that know allot about hardware. Just ask, but search first, always search first. :D
Oh and welcome to the board.
