:helpsmile: i need help choosing a mobo. could you recommend which mobo i should get.

p.s. i cant really get them anywhere else but here so dont pay attention to the price. (Its in NZ dollars)

Gigabyte GA-7N400-L1 motherboard (http://www.ascent.co.nz/mn-product-spec.asp?pid=114494) is $168.01

Soltek SL-75FRN2-L motherboard (http://www.ascent.co.nz/mn-product-spec.asp?pid=113405) is $182.76

Leadtek K7NCR-18D Pro motherboard (http://www.ascent.co.nz/mn-product-spec.asp?pid=112708) is $201.00

wots the main difference between these mobos.

#1. = Not going to be the prettiest board to use, espically if you like to show it off, inside a windowed case. The Floppy controller connector is nicely on the side, but the morons put the power connector next to it. Your power supply will be next to the PS/2 slots, so the big fat PS cable will be across your motherboard, across your fan/heatsink. Decent board though.

#2. = Its for Intel's, not an option.

#3. = Looks okay.

yer sorry bout that i just noticed that when i clicked the button. but iv edited it out now and put a new mobo in #2. thanks for the reply also john :lol:

The new #2 Link looks decent, comparable stats to the DFI, and it has slightly better Sound, and an active northbridge cooler. (can on the middle chip on mobo)
