How Many Movies Do You Have?

I am approaching 175 dvd rips burned to cds and about 50 more on my computer or downloading. Edonkey network kicks ass for movies.

im feeling quite ashamed at the moment because my HD is 120GB and im only sharing 6 movie files deleted the rest BUT im sharing 376 audio files so i guess that kind of makes up for it.

sweet! i keep 2 books of games and movies. but y would u print labels? :huh: just rite on the cds. i've lost count. most of the movies are either bad or useless, and i usually only burn the good ones

i've got about 400 movies and (not sure) about 100 anime shows. oh, and "thefilepirater", that's nice what u did. with the labels and all. ;) seems like a lot of work though?

154 discs (my dvd plays avi and has a special ac3 decoder, so i just burn the avi files onto disc, the quality is better than vcd/kvcd/svcd and sometime i can fit 2 movies on there :o :D ) full of movies, 58 discs full of episode, and about 100+ movies on hd, 19 movies downloading, 32 eps downloading (simpsons and family guy). :D :D :D thanks god for my dual 120 gb hdd!!!!!!!! alphabetize? man, i'm having a headache thinking about that. meh, i got them ordered (discs) according genre (sci-fi, war, action, anime, tv series, then in those genre orders, i alphabetize (sorta).

btw, its not that time consuming, i label em cuz i have movie showings for large amotuns of friends and charge em (for food and my time NOT MOVIE!!)

Great collection you have there! Nice!

But you say that you charge your friends for food and time?

That must be very american thing to do do you have a home cinema?

I have a 51" brand new Sony backprojection TV and a 5.1 system what do you have?

Home Cinema is really fun it is a whole different experience compared to a normal TV!. I have noticed that more people come to our familys house since we got that it has its appeal!. They always want to se their rented DVD's at our house I wonder why? :rolleyes:

But it is good for me to since I got to watch alot of free movies that I dont have to pay for they pay for the rental!. Great!

In Sweden it is generally not okay to charge money from friends in generall for stuff like that but instead whe usually ask people to make and bring their own food and stuff thats a typical Swedish approach to this problem!.

Whats best I do not know but its intresting these cultural differences!.

How many movied do I have then I do not know. I have not counted them but I have a lot on my HD as they are consuming about 45Gigs of my HD. About 10% of them are shared over Kazaa at any given time(I periodically change them). I also got 5 Gigs of music on my HD. I only have about 30Gigs remaining on my HD now so I must soon start to clean it out of garbage!. And yeat my Computer is only 2 months old gosh those gigs just fly awy when using P2P B)

I have only burned 5 movies all of them SVCD's. I also have about 500 VHS tapes but most of them are just old and crappy and only a few has movies on them most are TV programs.

I also have about 20 legal DVD's!

Can you describe it?

What is that TV and how big is it?

I must say that I am impressed by that rack of apparatus you have. Must be a heavy load for the stuff at the bottom!

I personally have the following in my Home Theater/Living Room and other rooms:

Sony KP-51PX3 51" Backprojection TV(RPTV)
Sony DVP-NS330 DVD player(plays almost every fomat not DivX though)
United 3151 DVD player(used for copying and Region 1 discs since it is region free and Macrovision free)
2X Samsung stereo VCR's
Sony HTP 3100 5.1 Home Cinema system with a total of 675Watt output.

i have about 50 on disc, and 40 or so on my comp. i just write on the disc with a perm marker. that collection does look nice tho. im just friggin lazy. :P oh, and i only download and keep dvd quality movies. i dont like watching the cams or telecines. and every movie i have came from bittorrent.
