Sygate Firewall Question?

ever since i installed sygate 5.5pro, whenever I start up my comp and try and go onto the net I get your standard issue "cannot find server" page. I have to keep trying until after about 10 attemps to get onto a web address the net suddenly starts to work. Why?

make sure your connected to the internet and it is enable to use by sygate firewall then you shudnt have any problems :)

make sure you have access granted for the generic host processes
and of course internet explorer :P

sygate is allowing the host servers to work and ie as well.

yeah, i figured that out after re-reading the 1st post :lol:
i do that alot, kinda miss parts of posts :P

hmm, sygates a pretty straight up firewall, start going through all your settings

if you got sygate personal handy, try going back to it to see if pro is really the prob

check for spy/adwares, something that might be trying to redirect your browser

and check browser settings also, might have changed
