hi ppl, i have 340$ in cdn money to spend what upgrades should i get? here is my specs

20gb hd
377 mb of ram
intel celron processor
intel graphics cards (sucks)

what would give me the most bang for my buck? thx :lol:

dont upgrade

get a new comp: cuz rite now u need a p4 or athlon, celerons get u nowhere in life

intel grafix card = integrated grafix which does suck, as u sed

Yeah...I built my whole system for $650 minnus the harddrive. So about $750 for a whole new system. Thats what you have to do.

not everyone has an extra 450 dollars lying around, bigdawg..... as some1 told you before, some ppl ARE in a budget...

yea....and we are saying no1 has just money lying around like you seem to do....

earning money isnt that easy.... its not just going to mom and dad and tell them u need to...its earning it the real way.... working!

i dont know how the currency is but here you can get a 2.0ghz 512k cache 400fsb for only &#036;120....a cheap 80 gig hdd for 55 from pricewatch....and let see 300-175, theres still 125 left for a vid card....but these are for U.S. only....maybe you can find some place in canada...or some place that ship to canada

I&#39;d suggest a modest XP+ CPU, an nForce2 board such as the A7V8X-X, a GF4 type gfx card and 256MB of PC3200. Throw in a cheap 40G HDD as well.
That ain&#39;t anywhere near top notch but you can crank up the FSB on the CPU and synch it with the RAM. The gfx won&#39;t be great but they&#39;ll be a helluva lot better than what he&#39;s got.

Dunno what the cost would be in Canadian but I&#39;d thought it possible to put that together for around the £220UK mark.

Looks like a gfx card to alleviate the load a little, and a HDD to store all those mp3s.
