Right now it's Jan 6 11:53PM, tomarrow on Jan 7 at 1:00PM, I'll be at the California DMV taking my drivers exam for my license. :)

Man am I nervous, I keep thinking I'll worry about driving too fast and I'll drive too slow and fail. I did a lot of driving with my father today as practice, I hope I pass.

Wish me luck guys! :)

EDIT: Fixed the dates, I'm so nervous I can't even get the dates right!

Ok KrackHead2k, take a deep breath. We've all been through the same anxiety....nothing to worry about, you'll do fine.

Here's a final briefing of the basics before you go.....

**Starting the Vehicle:
Adjust mirrors
Fasten safety belt (I repeat....) Fasten safety belt
Backing:
Check mirrors and look over right shoulder.

Keep eyes "moving."

*Steer smoothly at all times.
*Accelerate smoothly. Don't race the engine or make it stall.
*Stop the vehicle gently. Start braking well ahead of your stopping position to *avoid sudden "jerks." Stop in the proper lane.
*Be sure your vehicle is in the correct gear. Don't grind the gears. Don't coast to a stop.
*Always obey the posted speed limits. But if needed, reduce your speed to adjust for existing weather, road, and other traffic conditions.
*Follow at a safe distance. Use the three-second rule. Increase your following distance in bad weather or poor visibility.
*Know what the traffic signals mean and obey them at all times.
*When you come to a stop, know where to stop. Be aware of crosswalks. If your view is blocked when you stop at a crosswalk, move forward carefully to look into the intersection.
*Always use the proper lane. Turn from the correct lane into the correct lane.
*Signal for all lane changes and turns.
*Always look for potential hazards (scan). Check your mirrors frequently. Always *look over the proper shoulder before making lane changes.
*Drive defensively. Anticipate driving errors by others.

Good luck!
Let us know how it went.

I failed the european the first time and passed it the second.

I failed three times the Australian (left side) and got passed the fourth time by some french guy where I thought I had the worst drivers exam of them all :P
