I received an email from a member asking me to share yet it says i'm sharing over 11,000 files at the bottom of my K-Lite screen when i'm downloading.I've set the # of uploads to 10 because i have a Broadband connection;I'm stymied & i want to make sure i'm sharing - That's the whole point of this network. Also how do i become a supernode? Thanks in advance for your help, zillaman.

If you can see at the bottom that you're sharing 11.000 files you most likely are sharing them and you're shared folder is probably hidden for other users to see.
If you really want people to see what you're sharing go to options>k++options>privacy>untick "hide my shared folder"

;)

You can become a supernode by unticking the box saying "Do not function as a supernode" in the options. Then each time you start up, your computer could be chosen at random to become a supernode, if it meets the minimum requirements eg powerful processor, fast connection etc. :)

How the hell he get ahold of your e-mail ???

And anyway, what types of files are you sharing ??? If most of them are pictures  stop sharing most of them. This only generates unnecessary traffic and when you have your upload slots full many users will still try to connect to you and it may lead to stability problems.

I asked you have did he get ahold of your e-mail via K-Lite.

And about files. Well, from what you're saying it seems that E-Books and "some pictures" are the majority of your shared files. Right, aren't I ?
My advice that you stop sharing porno pisc and small prono movies. B)

When zillaman says email, I think he really means a Private Message on K-Lite, rather than an actual email. ;)
