I'm curious if anyone else has thought of this.
Today I was downloading a SeaLab episode and
I was getting it from 4 people for a total of 58.3 K
or so. But occasionally a few other users would
pop up and it would show an attempt to get 22kb
or some small part of the episode from them.
Now sometimes I can see the progress bar
show up for a micro second and then that user
is gone before I have the chance to right click
on them. But sometimes I can't see the
progress bar at all and the user name disapears
about as quickly as it showed up. So I was
curious if a T1 or T3 connection would share
a tiny part of the file too quickly for my computer
to show it on screen.
So I have DSL, so perhaps 56k or 14.4K users
might not see my user name at all as I would
send them 22kb very quickly. On second thought
maybe this has to do with my slow video card ?
I was told my Intel video card is not that great
and a few years old. Do people with better video
cards show more users ?
Anyway, just curious what other people thought.
ciao,
