i don't mind at all, you put yourself out there and because you're one of the few that do, u have to expect to come in for a bit of stick, it's not like we edited pics in a really harsh way. so i made you glow white..... it's not exactly the worst thing i've seen someone do to you on this forum. i've never called you names or anything like that.

i don't think it's wrong that you are totally open about yourself on here, i was just explaining why a lot of people aren't so open, and do in fact hold back quite a bit. it's not because we are liars, it's not because we are scared, it's because we choose not to, the same way you choose to let it all hang out.

you can't tell from those pics you posted that there has been any burn trauma, so apologies for that. i am sorry that it now causes you to avoid the sun, which i can understand.

but, not knowing that, there isn't really anything that bad about saying, hey man, you're a bit pale, get the sunshine on you! not that many people have had serious burns, so it's not bad to assume that it's just cos you're a bit of a naturally pale bloke.

the pics weren't made to make you look albino or anything, just exaggerating the fact that you lacked a tan.

now calm down before u go red another way, with high blood pressure.

i'm not gonna say that.

I will say that it "should" be obvious that we were only intending to have a little dig at someone (who like someone pointed out, seemed like the majority of british people) who was a bit on the pale side, not someone with sensitive skin.

It shouldn't affect your confidence in any way either. if it has, i'm sorry that you feel that way. i can't really be sorry for making the pics though, because they weren't made with any malicious intent at all. i can only feel sympathetic to the reaction they have caused.

Okay... for the record - I didn't have time to post about it at the time as I was visiting my mother and checked my email to find that I had 30 some odd PMs regarding it. I was NOT offended by the signature that faceman created. After I investigated and found out who it was, I found it funny. I removed it, because others did find it offensive and there were a couple of people who were geniunely upset - if anyone recalls, I removed it and replaced it with a sarcastic joke, but did not take any action against anyone for it. Had I been hurt, I would have done more than that.

In this case, I don't think anyone is at fault. Jonno was hurt, but no one here could possibly have known his reasons for this, not knowing him personally.

Jonno, you have no reason to feel your confidence shaken. I for one still adore you, and you know that. :)

:D eh.. no one here really knows me, but i commend you for showing a pic of yourself, jonno. ive had several people that ive really enjoyed talking to just stop talking to me once they've seen my pic. thats hard to take.

also, it does hurt the ego when someone even JOKES about your pic the 10th time. i know id probably be even more upset if it were me.

i see that everyone has hugged and made up.. but i just wanted to comment. :)

Yeah I'd have to admit that would hurt but that would also infiriate me, people are people, just like food, if you like the taste of something, knowing whats in it should not put you off.
I have a friend online who had changed, they thought after seeing the change I would'nt speak to them anymore, I was actually more angry that they thought that of me, I know a lot of you here but have no clue what you look like, but those of you I like and are friends with, seeing your picture would'nt change anything, in a couple of cases it actually made me like them more :)
