I went there ages ago with my college to see a presentation for business studies a level ended up spending most of my time in the pub (http://www.pubs.com/pub_details.cfm?ID=141).

still the London eye is literally 15 mins walk across the river and i always take my g/f to Covent garden there is plenty of places to eat, drink and shopping for her with loads of entertainment going on.

If your gonna do the london eye ring up in advance and book tickets since the line is massive.

thx

hmm.. I did think about the London Eye but figured that it'd be cool for the first 20mins... and maybe ok for the next 10.. but then it'd just be waiting and waiting to get out for hours til it comes back round like David Blaine :dabs:

I grew up in London. Covent Garden is fantastic, especially in the summer when the street performers are out and about. Or head to Camden Market, do some shopping then sit in a bar overlooking the canal until it gets dark, then head into Jongleurs for some comedy or up to the Jazz Cafe. Watch out for the pushers around the station though.
