Anyone knows their way around in Glasgow? To find some cool pubs?

01-10-2004, 06:24 PM
with a few students, we could start off in the strathclyde union bars, the priory or the barony bar
then move on to a place called the counting house, it's pretty quiet and just off george square...that's about the extent of my knolwedge of glasgow pubs though

01-10-2004, 06:55 PM

Well, if there actually are people that come from abroad for it, then can stay over at our place. Would be most convenient as it's right near the airport.
I don't know for the others though, we'll have to look into that

I've had a look at the Holiday Inn prices for one thats right next door to the airport.
Its about £60 a night which aint too sad.
Looking at maybe taking the train up there but thats a 7 hour journey but it'll save me £30.
I cant guarantee I'll make it at the mo. I've gotta make sure I'm not working when the dates confirmed.
