Hogmanay is the Scottish New Year, celebrated on 31st December every year.

You've allready missed it, but book tickets now for the party of a lifetime ;)

Oh and a certain member of this forum is also organising a party in the land of Highland flings - make reservations now and dont forget to take a box of Belgium chocolates too ;)

Menu:
Pancakes and ice cream B)

:( Would love to join the party. Unfortunately, for me anyway, the fare is out of my budget right now. Be sure to post pic's so as to provide a virtual pub crawl. I'd love to see the t-shirt, maybe even buy one if available.

cheers, omc

Skweeky

Of course, there will be plenty of pics

And I'd need to find out about those t-shirts first. Maybe we can get some sponsoring, would be nice.

7th, care to have the k-lite logo on the t-shirts?

(and I so told myself to take things easy as soon as I moved  )

Anyone knows their way around in Glasgow? To find some cool pubs?

4th gen
01-10-2004, 06:24 PM
with a few students, we could start off in the strathclyde union bars, the priory or the barony bar

then move on to a place called the counting house, it's pretty quiet and just off george square...that's about the extent of my knolwedge of glasgow pubs though

Skweeky
01-10-2004, 06:55 PM
Ok, no problem, I'll drag Mouse with me to some pubs, we can check em out

Skweeky
01-10-2004, 07:38 PM
Well, if there actually are people that come from abroad for it, then can stay over at our place. Would be most convenient as it's right near the airport.

I don't know for the others though, we'll have to look into that

WeeMouse

I've had a look at the Holiday Inn prices for one thats right next door to the airport.
Its about £60 a night which aint too sad.
Looking at maybe taking the train up there but thats a 7 hour journey but it'll save me £30.
I cant guarantee I'll make it at the mo. I've gotta make sure I'm not working when the dates confirmed.
