I've just found a tool to clean up index files.
All file names I've ever downloaded were stored in some index files and for some reason those index files were always shared, even after i disabled file shareing.

this is pretty much the same thing as K-Dat

edit: the index files being referred to are the db files for kazaa or kazaa lite. K-Dat has a database cleaner.....which does the same as this "index cleaner" does :P . so lets review........get K-Dat.....its FREE!!!!! :D .

edit #2: and another thing......the database files that contain that information are never shared, unless youre dumb enough to share your entire program files or documents and settings directories  (or even dumber...youre entire hard drive  ) , and they definetly are never shared if you turn sharing off :P . your post sounds more like a scare tactic/advertisement than a tip <_< .

Index.dat files will not get deleted\cleaned
if your a "limited user" - you need to be an admin...
