not sure wtf is goin on, cause ive never had a prob with klite
but i just re-loaded about 300 mp3's to my hdd,
put em in my klite folder, and its reading the id3 tags wrong
for example, i got about 5 or 6 songs by the DOC
klite hashed 65 songs by this artist
looked at my uploads and "its only rock and roll" by the stones
was hashed as a feckin DOC track,
so someone was gettin a bogus d/l from me, and i aint havin that

anyone else ever have something like this happen?
i said fk it and uninstalled, wonderin if reinstall wont do the same thing?

Maybe ID3 tags are incorrect ? Check them.

Sometimes K-Lite doesn't read them correctly even if they are filled it rightfully.

nope, tags are good
k-lite renamed em in the sub folders in "my kazaa lite"
on the hdd theyre still the right file names/tags

to hell with it, im gonna try a re-install of 2.4.2
since i still have the installer
might have just had a minor error or something in the program
cause it never did this before
and cant be bothered to hunt down 2.4.3 :P

hey, that caused me a major alarm :o :P
had to go out and find an mp3 tag editor and didnt even need it
(well, not true, some tags on songs i d/l'd from klite a while back could use some editing) :)

Lol, you can edit the tags from inside winamp mate. Just right click them in the playlist, the go to properties. :)
